Works with most characters in the game, you can and should tweak it according to the said character. In case you can't read what I wrote here's a simple but longer version. Crouching medium, medium, jump, medium, light, light, down heavy, heavy, medium, light, light, down heavy, double jump, light, medium, heavy.

Easy to do and does actual damage. I use a Xbox one controler but I've never tried the keyboard so I won't tell you what's better. I've played on keyboard since I never played fighting games before and I didn't have a controller at the time.

It was hard at first since the controls were unbearable but I looked through the discussions and saw that someone had customized their own controls by having movements "WASD" and attacks on the numpad. I suggest if you're going to play on keyboard to follow this configuration. You could never go wrong with a standard BnB combo. If this is your first fighting game it would work to your advantage to learn the "language" of combos. Such as "2H" which means down heavy. A good way to know what the number next to the letter means is to look at a numpad as a compass, left being 4, right being 6, down meaning 2 and you'd have to hold down the "crouch" button with the attack, etc.

BnB combos work for every character except those that cannot 2H mid-air. They might have some synergy where you may use assists to lengthen combos which do more damage. User Info: bobsaysblah. User Info: hikaruai. BnB stands for Bread and Butter. It's a stupid term used by the fighting game community.

Could simply say combos or basic combos or whatever. Um, No When no one is around, Love will always love you User Info: DragonPick. Oh hai guys what happened in here? User Info: BanzaiHeil. I propose that us "new fighting gamers" get together and start our own lingo. We'll use crazy confusing terms like "Basic Combos" and the like. It's not some elitist club or anything, though. You fighting game veterans are more than welcome to stop on by. Just be aware that if you ask for a "Bread 'N Butter," you're going to get a pickle in your bum.

I make toast out of my opponents with by BnB combos and "toasty"!!! Revelation King James Version. The term bread-and-butter is not even exclusive to fighting games. I've heard that expression used long before I even started playing fighting games. I don't see why people would think it's dumb to use that term. User Info: Sjotyme. BnB is a term for useful, non conventional actions.

However, since calling it basic combos leads people to think you are talking about the combos in the move list, you cannot use basic combos as a nickname for BnB. This will only confuse people. Please, do not get angry if you disagree. More topics from this board New to Fighters?
